2025 Season Tackle Football Registration Information

Registration

3/3/2025: Returning 2024 player registration opens

3/17/2025: Open registration for returning and new players

5/27/2025: Last day of 2025 season registration (likely sooner based on demand)

We strongly encourage interested players to register immediately once registration is open.  Once the maximum number of players is reached for the respective age level, subsequent registrants will be waitlisted. If additional coaching staff are identified to form more teams, waitlisted players will be moved to active status. All waitlisted players will either be moved to active status or released before parents need to order uniforms, which will be in the June timeframe.

FIRST YEAR PLAYERS: You will need an electronic copy of your players' birth certificate to complete registration.

To Do

  1. Once the registration link is available, register to play!
  2. If you will have a new player in 2025, please make sure you have their birth certificate to provide during the registration process.
  3. Visit our equipment page for required and optional football equipment. Parents purchase their players' football equipment; it is not provided by the Naperville Saints.

Uniforms

Game uniforms will be purchased by parents separately and are NOT included in the registration fee. A subsequent uniform fitting will occur on or around June, at which time parents will order their players’ uniforms and pay for them in full. The approximate uniform cost will be $150 which covers uniforms, pants, helmet decals.

Returning players can re-use their 2024 uniform or order a new uniform. The uniform design has not changed from 2024.

Discounts

A multi-player $50 discount may be applied for parents registering more than one player for the 2024 season. There is no sibling discount code this year as it automatically takes it from the cart when you pay.

Discounts do not apply to uniforms as they are purchased separately.

Refunds

A $50 non-refundable deposit will be due at registration checkout. Waitlisted players will not pay a deposit. Players who cancel before the first practice are eligible for a full refund. Players who cancel after the first game are not eligible for a refund. Note that game uniforms are non-refundable.

Season Dates

  • First practice: 8/4/2025 (evaluation period starts)
  • Week 1 games: TBA from the BGYFL
  • Super Bowl Dates: TBA from the BGYFL
The first practice marks the beginning of the evaluation period for player evaluation and assignment to teams. The evaluation period will last approximately two weeks. Read this article for more information on player and team assignments.

Other Info

Eligibility
The 2025 season minimum player age is 8 years old, maximum player age is 14 years old. Player age is determined by age as of 8/1/2025, not grade. Additionally, weight limits and the League “Striper” rule are still in effect for 2024. If you know of interested players who are in the lineman size and ability, please encourage them to register. See our Lineman webpage for more info - we need them!
