Be a Coach!

We’re all busy while we balance work, kids activities, family life, and more. Taking the time to coach a Naperville Saints youth football team can translate to personal growth and helps ensure that more kids can play football.

  • Make an impact on our local youth's football and character development
  • Install your own offense, defense, and special teams schemes - or use what we have already developed as a template
  • Spend quality time with your child in their formative years
  • Learn football at a deeper level and get support from coaching staff, high school coaches, board members
  • Be a part of the 60+ year history of Naperville Saints/ St. Raphael Football coaches

As a follow-up we sat-down with his dad, Rob Bern, to hear his perspectives on youth football, coaching, being a multi-sport athlete and more.

Perspectives: Coach Czuba

For a variety of reasons youth football is experiencing a resurgence nationwide, including here in Naperville. With the surge we are seeing players coming over to the Naperville Saints who have played flag football. As a result, players and parents frequently ask us about the transition from flag to tackle, so we have asked someone who knows the game firsthand - Coach Mike Czuba. Mike is a long-time coach and Naperville Saints board member with over 40 years of on-field football experience.
