1. What is the Naperville Saints 7x7 Football Program?
The Naperville Saints 7x7 Program is a fun, fast-paced, one-hand touch football league designed for boys and girls ages 8-14. It combines skill-building and competition in a flexible, low-pressure environment.
2. Who can participate in the program?
The program is open to boys and girls ages 8-14, regardless of whether they are current Naperville Saints players. All positions are encouraged to participate, including lineman.
3. When does the program run?
The program runs on Saturday mornings from April 5 to May 24, 2025 (8 weeks). Sessions will generally be an hour in length and in between 8am-10am.
4. Where will the program take place?
All games and practices will be held at Still Middle School (near 75th & Rt. 59).
5. What is the cost of the program?
The program fee is $150 per player, which includes a reversible jersey.
6. How does the program work?
Each session includes a 30-minute practice followed by a game. Players are encouraged to attend as many sessions as they can make, but we understand that conflicts will come up. Don’t let that stop you from signing up!
7. How are teams organized?
Teams are split evenly by age and ability to ensure fair and fun competition. Players are guaranteed to play 50% of the snaps. Naperville Saints players are NOT organized by 2024 season teams or coaches.
8. Do players need prior football experience?
No experience is necessary! The program is open to all skill levels and encourages participation, including for linemen.

10. What happens if the minimum participation isn’t reached?
The program requires at least 100 participants to proceed. In the unlikely scenario that the minimum number of players isn't met within 45 days of registration opening, the program may be canceled, and registration fees will be refunded.
11. What equipment do players need?
Players should bring cleats, a water bottle, a mouthguard, and athletic wear. Jerseys will be provided and are included in the registration fee.
12. Who will coach the teams?
Volunteer coaches will lead the teams. Coaching opportunities are offered at registration, and discounts may be provided for parents who volunteer.
13. Who will officiate the games?
High school or NCC students will serve as referees for the games.
14. Can players request to be on the same team as their friends?
Teams are organized to ensure balanced competition, but requests may be considered where possible.
15. What if my child cannot attend every week?
Attendance is flexible! Players are encouraged to attend as many sessions as their schedule allows.
16. Are there additional practices during the week?
No.
17. What happens in the first week?
The first week includes player evaluations to help organize balanced teams.
18. What happens if the program needs to be canceled?
The facility can be canceled with one week’s notice, and participants will receive full refunds if the program cannot proceed.

Not at this time, but may be considered for future 7x7 seasons,
21. Can you provide an overview of 7x7? Does it involve tackling or flags?
7x7 is a non-contact version of football designed for kids to have fun, stay active, and develop certain football skills. 7x7 is non-contact and does not use flags.

23. How long are the games?
Games are two twenty-minute halves and will generally last between 45 minutes and one hour.
24. Can other BGYFL towns participate?
The 7x7 program is not limited to Naperville Saints players or Naperville residents. However, if you reside in a BGYFL team town which has an existing spring 7x7 program, we encourage you to attend your town's respective 7x7 program.
